Electric skateboard Traqpod 3 can transform into a longboard within seconds, thanks to its retractable wheels, adding excitement to land carving and cruising. A new addition that spices up the Traqpod 3 is its electric feature. Its predecessor – sharing the same name but without the word ‘electric’ – has the same style and design but requires the skateboarder’s push and force to move forward.

With the upcoming electrified version, cruisers can roll away without the need to stomp their foot on the ground for propulsion, making the Electric Traqpod 3 a hands-free alternative to an electric scooter. Traqpod 3 builds on the original Traqpod 1 board design and incorporates the functional and structural improvements of Traqpod 2.

The wheels are arranged in the shape of the letter Y, attached to a foldable hinge that can be concealed under the board, transforming it into a skateboard. In the electric model, the batteries appear to be located between the front wheels, connected to the added motor container beneath the board. The non-electric skateboard/longboard has a thin profile, while the electric version has a slightly thicker size, but remains lightweight and compact.

The electric skateboard/longboard Traqpod 3 extends cruising into the late dusk if skateboarders desire, thanks to the positioning of its LED circular beams. Blinking and steady white lights are activated at the front base of the board design, while red lights are found at the rear, signaling to other skateboarders and passersby when the user is performing tricks. When users wish to slow down from their enjoyable speed, they can simply lean back slightly.

Skateboard and longboard users can also customize their electric Traqpod 3 to their liking. The wheels are offered in different shapes and materials, depending on the type of terrain they want to traverse. The startup claims they are also ideal for riding safely and smoothly over cracks and pebbles. An optional hanger can be shipped to the user, allowing them to conveniently suspend their electric Traqpod 3 on the wall when they are finished.

With their thin shape, folding trucks, and rounded details, both the electric and non-electric Traqpod 3 models are easy to pick up, hold, drag, roll, or carry. The handle is located between the front wheels and under the board, enabling users to carry it like a bag.

The skateboard/longboard also comes with a remote control equipped with an OLED screen that displays gear, speed, direction, lap mileage, total mileage, and battery charge status for both the board and the remote. The Electric Traqpod 3 is expected to be released in Fall 2023 and is currently running its Kickstarter campaign.
